Give each sound a visible reason

Action before adjective

Write what changes in the frame: a lid opens, a foot hits water, or a cup fills. Pair that action with one recognizable sound. A concrete event gives you something to check when reviewing the finished clip.

Separate ambience from events

Put rain, room tone or distant traffic in the continuous ambience field. Reserve each beat's sound field for a short event or a named speaker. This keeps a single splash from being interpreted as a constant background sound.

Leave dialogue breathing room

Name one speaker and write the exact short line. Keep important effects out of that window when possible. The planner checks visual beat order, but it does not measure spoken duration or guarantee lip synchronization.

From cue sheet to a reviewed clip

1. Set the scene

Choose the subject, camera, clip length and frame shape. Keep a single action understandable in three beats: setup, change and finish. A longer plan does not mean your chosen generator can render that duration in one request.

2. Check the ranges

Times are seconds from the beginning of the clip. Adjacent beats can share a boundary, but visual beats cannot overlap here. Gaps are allowed and flagged so you can decide whether to add a deliberate hold.

3. Copy, then verify

Copy the timed brief to a video tool you have access to and confirm that tool's available settings. Watch the result with sound on, then muted: check event timing, speaker identity and visual continuity. Treat the cue sheet as direction, not proof of a result.

Useful sound-on planning exercises

Product handling

Use the Tea pour example to distinguish preparation, pouring and the final drop. Apply the same structure to an unbranded package opening or a drawer closing. Avoid adding unrelated music when the small physical sounds are the subject.

A short presentation

The One-line dialogue example puts a single sentence between two silent actions. Shorten the line before speeding it up. Review mouth motion and pronunciation manually; an orderly timeline cannot ensure a model will deliver natural speech.

Environmental movement

The Rainy walk example separates continuous weather from one footstep splash. Switch sound off to copy a visual-only version without losing your audio notes. Use it to check whether the scene still tells a clear story without sound.

What does this Muse Video tool create?

It creates a copyable text cue sheet with a scene, planned duration, frame shape and three timed visual beats. Optional sound notes sit beside each action. It does not render, play or download video or audio.

Are the timestamps exact generation controls?

No. They describe your intended sequence. A generator may interpret timing approximately or support a different duration. This tool catches impossible or overlapping visual ranges, not model behavior, dialogue length or audio latency.

How do I make a silent version?

Turn off Include sound cues. The output omits ambience and per-beat sound fields and explicitly requests silence. Your sound edits stay in the current browser session so you can turn them back on. Review any generated result to confirm it is actually silent.

Can I save my plan without signing in?

Yes. Copy the text directly without an account. The planner does not store your input, so copy it before navigating away or reloading. If browser clipboard access is unavailable, select the displayed text and copy it manually.
